If there are such thing as food for the Gods ( and i believe there are) then the picture above is one of them. I get to eat duo souffle last Christmas. It was not the first actually since i love to indulge in such foods...but this was a first from a friend who is a Chef and quite frankly, it more than surpassed my expectations.
My hubby's review of it was raving as well. He is not a dessert lover nor a lover of any sweets but for this one he loved it and is wanting for more. The sweetness is at the exact amount, not too sweet that it overwhelms other palette but it is not too bland as well that you cannot taste anything. It was just sheer perfection - not being biased here since a friend made it. But it is the right one - perfect for my taste. It is creamy inside which feels like silk melting into your mouth.
So if there is such a thing as food for the Gods, this Duo chocolate souffle is one of them. And i cannot wait to hunt for more. :)
